 There are two groups of Trump haters.

The first is what this writer terms, “The Weak Sister Crowd.” These are the whiners and crybabies who got their noses out of joint when Trump released a “mean” tweet that brought tears to their eyes. They’re the “Trump said boo to the _____ (insert target group here), and I’m not going vote for him ever again” brainiacs.

When I was growing up there seemed to be nothing the world could do to take down America. I remember Nikita Khrushchev saying that America would fall without firing a shot because we would fall from the inside. I began to see evidence of that in the late 60s with the mindset of my generation. I realized immediately that if they get their way they wouldn’t be able to protest the way they were. I couldn’t convince any of them of that simple logic. What I didn’t see at the time is it was the Democrat Party that was the big influence. JFK was still fresh in everybody’s mind as well as RFK and MLK.

I am reminded of a speech that JFK gave just days before he was assassinated in 1963. I had been hearing about this speech for decades without really listening to it. I had an understanding of it but I never really thought that our government would allow something like that to happen.

 The US has been in debt and arguing about it for its entire existence.

The only two years in US history when there was no debt came as then-President Andrew Jackson was blowing up the banking system and immediately preceded the Panic of 1837 and a major depression.

In recent decades, disagreements over raising the debt ceiling (the maximum amount of money the Treasury is authorized to borrow to pay its bills) have grown along with the size of the national debt. The country reached its debt limit, which currently stands at $31.4 trillion, on Thursday.

On Jan. 19, the United States officially hit its legal debt limit of almost $31.4 trillion. Over the next few months, the Treasury Department will be able to shift money around to buy time, but sooner or later, unless the limit is raised or suspended, the country risks defaulting on its debts.

With members of the new House Republican majority saying they want spending cuts included in any bill that raises the debt limit — and with the White House saying it will not negotiate — the door is open to an unprecedented U.S. default.

 

Two Special Counsel Theories -- One DoJ Conclusion

Attorney General Merrick Garland has now appointed two special counsels to investigate two presidents (one former, one current) for mishandling classified documents while out of office. Donald Trump is accused of keeping classified documents after leaving office. We now know that Joe Biden did keep classified documents after stepping down as Vice President -- and before being inaugurated President. The pundit class is convinced that the appointments have nothing to do with justice or equal application of the law. We know the first appointment is to prosecute Donald Trump for something -- anything. As for Joe Biden, there are two predominant theories for the second special counsel appointment -- and frankly, both could be correct.

In light of the dismaying set of events that has put our country at great risk, it is intriguing to read the words of Alexander Hamilton to George Clinton dated February 13, 1778.  Written from Valley Forge immediately after his arrival at headquarters, Hamilton expressed his deep concern about the “degeneracy of representation in the great council of America.”

Hamilton notes that each day Americans “see and feel, that there is not so much wisdom in a certain body, as there ought to be, and as the success of our affairs absolutely demands.”

  THIS A VERY GOOD SUMMATION OF WHAT'S TAKING PLACE IN THE WORLD AND OUR COUNTRY RIGHT NOW, AND WHAT COULD HAPPEN IF WE DON'T GET RID OF BIDEN AND HIS VP. IT COULD LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN FOR THE HOUSE SPEAKER TO????

The Scariest Developments to Watch Out For in 2023

I believe most people hope 2023 is a better year than 2022.  But I am not counting on it.

In just the past two years, our national government has spent roughly $13 trillion and authorized spending trillions more.  Politicians use words and phrases like "investments," "long-term savings," "reducing inflation," "protecting Ukraine's sovereignty," etc. to justify this.  Clearly, they are either lying or living in a fantasy world.  Most of the money is being used to pay off campaign contributors and special interest groups, such as the climate change lobby, or to make politicians look good.

Inflation spiked to nine percent in June 2022, so the Federal Open Market Committee began raising interest rates to fight it.  As interest rates rose, the stock market tanked.  In 2023, interest rates will likely increase further, possibly sparking a worldwide recession.  Neither is good news for investors.

I am the first to admit that it takes a degree of courage to challenge the Federal Government, even though most of its functions are unconstitutional. The Parasitic Super Rich Ruling Class (PSRRC), major owners of corporate America, and their puppet minions in ‘woke’ corporations, government, and military flag officers control both political parties; they are the usurped government and our Enemy!
