Mueller Witness Drops Bombshell, Destroys The Credibility Of Entire Investigation

The left has been in a fresh tizzy over the Mueller investigation this week because they have something new to complain about (other than the blatant lack of anything credible uncovered by the investigation).

Matthew Whitaker’s appointment as interim attorney general has the left demanding recusal, particularly because Whitaker has been clear he believes the Mueller investigation should be put to an end.

Meanwhile, however, the dirty little secret of the Mueller investigation is that there is a much greater conflict of interest within his ranks.

Jeannie Rhee is a prosecutor who has been investigating former Trump lawyer Rodger Stone, who the Mueller team is trying to make the case was in communication with the hackers who gave Hillary Clinton’s email to Wikileaks before the fact.

If this is the case, which hasn’t been proven, Stone was no longer in Trump’s employ at the time he would have had contact with the hackers.

Rhee, on the other hand, has been charged with proving this when she herself has a long history of working with the Clintons.

Tyler Nixon is an attorney for Stone, who appeared before the special counsel earlier this month to testify on Stone’s behalf about why Stone may have had a perfectly legitimate reason to know about the WikiLeaks drops in advance, the Daily Caller reports.

Nixon was floored to discover that Rhee, who questioned him, was herself was once a lawyer for Hillary Clinton and the disreputable Clinton Foundation.

“(Rhee’s involvement) was not disclosed to me prior to my testimony, and I find this to be deeply troubling and certainly Ms. Rhee should be recused or removed from the investigation,” Nixon said.

Rhee absolutely should be recused. But the only recusal the Democrats care about is Whitaker’s.

“Among the reasons that Democrats have called for Whitaker’s recusal are his comments criticizing the Trump-Russia probe as well as his work in 2014 on a political campaign for Sam Clovis, a former Trump campaign official who testified before the Mueller grand jury as a witness in 2017,” The Daily Caller explains.

“Seven top congressional Democrats, including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and California Rep. Adam Schiff, cited Whitaker’s work with Clovis in a letter Sunday to the Justice Department’s top ethics official. The Democrats asked DOJ whether Whitaker has been advised on whether he should recuse himself from the probe.”

Meanwhile, Rhee defended Clinton when she herself was being targeted by conservative watchdog group Freedom Watch for the concerning way she used her private email server to transmit classified documents.

“I find it astonishing that there are cries for the recusal for Mr. Whitaker when I know that I was personally interviewed on behalf of the special counsel by an attorney, Jeannie Rhee, who was Hillary Clinton’s and the Clinton Foundation’s personal attorney not one or two years prior to her joining the special counsel,” Nixon said.

Stone, understandably, was also angered by Rhee’s work history and involvement in the Mueller investigation.

“It seems somewhat incredible that Democrats are calling for Acting Attorney General Whitaker to recuse himself from the Mueller investigation based on his prior political activities, but they think it’s perfectly alright for Hillary Clinton’s personal attorney and campaign donor to lead a potential prosecution of Roger Stone,” Stone told The Daily Caller.

The Mueller investigation is dismissing any concerns.

A spokesperson for Mueller said of Rhee’s appointment to the investigation: “(Justice) Department ethics experts reviewed the matters to which the Special Counsel was appointed and determined that Ms. Rhee is authorized to participate.”

As if that’s any consolation.

Unlike someone who may have simply donated to the Clinton investigation or worked with the former Secretary of State or her husband’s administration, Rhee herself was legal counsel for Clinton when she herself was being investigated by the FBI.

While Whitaker simply offered his expert opinion on the Mueller investigation before he ever worked for the Department of Justice, Rhee is was intimately involved with Clinton’s own legal troubles.

How can she possibly be expected to fairly investigate the campaign of her former client’s one-time political opponent?

This is nothing short of a scandal…but will the mainstream media treat it as such?

Of course not.
