Unfortunately, it seems that it was all for not. Today we face a similar evil that is rising again and threatening to destroy our civilization. I find it extremely unsettling that so many gave up so much only to find that 75 years later the evil has grown again and civilization is once again threatened with destruction. The question is; will there be another Greatest Generation? There is a difference this time. The war may not be fought so much with guns, although they will likely play a role. Those that control the technology and the information will likely be the victors. The average citizen today is at a distinct disadvantage in both information and technology.
