AGAIN ,PELOSI DOESN'T KNOW WHAT SHE TALKING ABOUT...

Pelosi Can’t Count Branches of U.S. Government

 Incredibly, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is ignoring the fundamental framework of our own federal government, claiming that instead of three coequal branches of the federal government-Executive, Legislative, and Judicial-that there are only two.




“First of all, let me just say, we take an oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States,” Pelosi said.
“Democrats take that oath seriously, and we are committed to honoring our oath of office. I’m not sure that our Republican colleagues share that commitment, and I’m not sure that the president of the United States does, too,” she continued.
“So, in light of the fact that the beauty of the Constitution is a system of checks and balances-two coequal branches…” before correcting herself with a laugh “three coequal branches of government.”
She quickly corrected her remarks after no doubt noting the jaw drops among her audience at the Center for American Progress. Then she continued to describe Congress as having two duties: oversight of the President and impeaching the President.
“Con … The constitution spells out the pri … pa, uh, the duties of Congress, and one of them is oversight of the president of the United States; another one of them is to impeach the president of the United States,” Pelosi said.
Even less reassuring is that she’s second in the line of succession to be President of the United States.
