Kamala Harris Missed A Vote On Disaster Relief For Her Own State. The Reason Why Is Laughable.

Kamala Harris Missed A Vote On Disaster Relief For Her Own State. The Reason Why Is Laughable.

Sen. Kamala Harris, who is currently vying for the Democratic party nomination for president in 2020, missed a key vote to provide disaster relief for her own home state this week.
You know why?
So she could campaign for president.
How much does she really care about the American people as a whole it can’t even show up to represent the people of her own state?
Harris is a first-time US Senator who has been planning a presidential run since she first got to Washington, missed this vote as well as several other important votes because she was too busy on the campaign trail.
Political noted:
When the Senate took contentious votes this week on a disaster aid package to help California rebuild after wildfires, Sen. Kamala Harris was in Sacramento — courting the support of labor unions for her presidential campaign.
A day later, Harris was stumping in Nevada when she missed a Tuesday vote on the start of a Republican maneuver to speed up confirmation of President Donald Trump’s judicial and executive branch nominees. Harris was still in Nevada Wednesday when the Senate took more votes, including a historic vote in which Senate Republicans used the so-called nuclear option to finalize their plan to expedite Trump’s nominees.
The missed votes highlight the challenge she and five of her Democratic Senate colleagues face as they struggle to balance their day jobs with the increasing demands of a presidential campaign.
While she prioritized the campaign trail over her job in the Senate this week, this could turn around to bite her in the rear as the campaign goes further along.
Democrats had been hoping to use the President’s threats to withhold wildfire relief aid from California against him, but if Harris now has to explain why she didn’t even care about voting for relief, she’s going to have a hard time demonizing the President in this regard.
