Nancy Pelosi Hires Corrupt Deep State DOJ Lawyer to Pave Pathway to Impeach President Trump
Pelosi hired Douglas Letter, a 40-year veteran of the Justice Department and former associate general counsel during the Clinton Administration, reported the Washington Examiner.
Letter retired in February of 2018 but resurrected from the depths of the DC swamp for one last power grab.

Douglas Letter, 65, attacked President Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Guiliani in September over his impending report on dirty cop Mueller.
“Heartburn spread across Washington after the President’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani suggested that the White House might assert executive privilege as a way to bury at least parts of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s much-anticipated report at the end of his investigation,” Douglas letter wrote in September.
Letter is a DC swamp creature who has spent years working with corrupt players such as Janet Reno and Eric Holder to name a few, via the Examiner:
Letter’s long career for the DOJ included roles such as deputy associate attorney general under former Attorney General Janet Reno, and senior counselor to former Attorney General Eric Holder. His decades of service, which included working on cases such as Obergefell v. Hodges, the 2015 landmark case which legalized gay marriage, was praised by the likes of Holder and Benjamin Wittes, editor-in-chief of Lawfare and friend to ex-FBI Director James Comey.
The anti-Trump crowd cheered after Pelosi hired Douglas Letter to House general counsel — he may be the guy who gets the ball rolling on President Trump’s impeachment.
The Democrats take back control of the House Thursday and they have vowed to bury President Trump in a myriad of investigations.
The Republicans accomplished nothing during the two years they had control of the House — ZERO indictments of the Deep State and they waited until the last minute to subpoena Comey and Lynch. Pathetic.
