Charlton Heston [1923-2018] Just Left His Entire Fortune To Republicans
As you’ve probably heard, the world lost one of the greats on Saturday when Charlton Heston passed away at the age of 84. Heston, a longtime supporter of Second Amendment rights and the GOP, gave one final gift to help make America great again.
When he died, Heston was valued at $187 million. In his will, he didn’t leave any of his fortunes to family (all of them are independently wealthy and don’t need it). Instead, the former NRA president and spokesman left $2 million to his church.
The other $185 million, according to Fox News, was divided among a number of candidates Heston feels will make America more like the country he remembers from his youth.
Heston left $20 million to Second Amendment PAC, a super PAC that supports candidates who fight for your right to own a firearm.
He also left $6 million to Roy Moore’s election campaign. In addition, he donated an astounding $29 million to Senator Susan Collins, who bravely placed her career on the line to face down Democrats who opposed now-Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh’s appointment to the bench.
Other lucky recipients included West Virginia’s Shelly Moore-Capito (5 million), Utah’s Mike Lee (7 million), and other candidates he says will “truly make America great again.”
Heston’s biggest gift, however, was to Donald Trump. The beloved actor and activist left $100 million to Trump’s 2020 campaign “to make sure the country is in good hands after I am gone.”
We love you, Charlie. We’re sure you’re sitting at God’s right hand right now looking down on us. Thank you for blessing our nation with these gifts, which will ensure that our country stays on the right track.
Heston may be gone, but his legacy will live on through his good works and deeds and his love for each and every American.
Now, it’s time to make America great again!
