TRUMP: THE SHOT HEARD ROUND THE WORLD! / Trump Reveals New Leaders Of Republican Party

Trump Reveals New Leaders Of Republican Party

Speaking to Lisa Marie Boothe, Fox News contributor and podcast host, former President Donald Trump offered his thoughts on the future of the Republican Party as a multi-racial, populist political party, and the people who will lead it.

Former President Donald Trump might have left the White House, but he certainly hasn’t left the Republican Party.

Speaking on Boothe’s podcast, the former president said that the party has a “lot of young, good people.”

“Ron DeSantis is doing a really good job in Florida,” he said about the Republican Governor of Florida.

“I think Josh Hawley has shown some real courage in going after Big Tech,” he added, referencing the Missouri Senator. Hawley recently lost his publisher, Simon & Schuster, for a book entitled the “Tyranny of Big Tech,” but it was soon picked up by Regnery instead.

Former President Donald Trump also spent some time on Boothe’s podcast, “The Truth with Lisa Boothe,” offering advice for President Joe Biden who appears to be struggling to handle the crisis on the southern border.

He even offered some ideas on who might be good for a 2024 presidential run, indicating that he may be considering taking a less prominent role in the next presidential election and allowing a new candidate to take the reins.

He even praised former opponent Senator Ted Cruz, who he successfully ran against in 2016 primary but who ultimately became a strong ally of.

“And you know somebody that’s been really terrified is Ted Cruz, and Rand Paul has been great,” he said about the Texas and Kentucky senators.

“A lot of people, I mean, really a lot of people have been terrified,” he added. “Sarah Huckabee is going to do great in Arkansas. I think that Kristi Noem has done a terrific job. A lot of, a lot of very good people, really very good people. The Republican Party is stacked.”

By the sounds of it, President Donald Trump is happy with the current state of the Republican Party with populist candidates lined up to take over while incumbents who opposed him face challenges in the upcoming 2022 midterms.

The former president recently vowed to travel to Alaska to campaign against sitting Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski, who voted to impeach him. Trump is also expected to use his new Super PAC to campaign against other establishment Republicans who oppose his Make America Great Again vision.

During Boothe’s podcast interview, the former president said that “some of the names” he had previously mentioned should run in 2024, and that he would “make that decision later” when asked if he was planning to run himself.

“I’ll make that decision sometime later, but there’s a pretty deep bench. If you look at the polls, they love the job that I’ve done,” he said.

  1. As much as I think Cruz would be a great president he is not a natural citizen and does not meet the constitutional requirements for the office.
