Transhumanism: Overview
There is a group of people who are looking toward making themselves
far better than most people. These people believe that evolution theory is a fact. Based on evolution theory, man (Homo sapiens) evolved or changed from
lower primates, like apes, and eventually became who we are today. These
people believe that it is time to transform or evolve to a better, higher
species who will be able to heal themselves and live for much longer period of
time, maybe for hundreds of years or even forever. Some even plan on making
themselves their own gods. These people are called Transhumanists.
1 Some aspects of Transhumanism is not bad. Think of people who have
lost limbs or their ability to walk. I think of Stephen Hawking, the brilliant
physicist who depended on machines to communicate his ideas and teachings. If
it had not been for all the mechanics, he would not be able to give the world
so much knowledge. Thus, some changes in human beings to help us to overcome
various adversities, such as a loss of arm or leg, improve our ability to communicate
can improve quality of life. Some even are working on making changes even in
our genome which might be helpful if it means that people would not develop
such horrible physical disabilities as multiple dystrophy, multiple sclerosis,
Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Chorea, or Alzheimer’s Disease. 2
Concerns:
What is quite concerning is the Transhumanist’s intent on the
manipulation of people’s genomes (that means changing the person’s set of
genes) for the purpose of making Homo sapiens no longer who God had created us
to be. Nick Bostrom’s vision includes the following:
“Transhumanists hope that by responsible use of science, technology,
and other rational means we shall eventually manage to become posthuman,
beings with vastly greater capacities than present human beings have.” 2
This post-human being will be far better than the present man.
Think of it:
“These transhumanists hope that man become stronger, more intelligent,
and happier. When they say “stronger” they mean an elaboration of a body that is
more resistant to diseases, to stress and is able to have better sense
capacities. This self-made man, stronger than the one God made, is like a
version 2.0 of man, and we see this in cyber soldiers which do not seem too far
off of the Terminator sci-fi movies. This man is also more intelligent than man
today, and we see this already with medication like Ritalin but more
specifically in the technologically-advanced “brain boosters.” 2
Scientists are also making human-animal hybrids. Just think of it, through
human-pig embryos, people can grow their own organ transplantation. 3 How far
can this go, especially when there are no moral codes to set a limitation on what
man could do?
Why am I concerned? As a Christian, I believe that Almighty God
created all of humanity so that we are images of Him. The Image of God in Genesis - Dr. Michael
Heiser
In Genesis 1: 27 (ESV), it says,
“So God created man in his own image, in the image
of God He created him;
male and female He created them.”
Please note that Almighty God our Creator did not make us be
image-makers, nor creators as He is.
I ask the reader to read Dr. Michael Heiser’s books, “What Does God
Want” or “Supernatural”. People need to understand the spiritual history
associated with our existence. In the beginning, God existed. After creating
the universe, God created spiritual beings: angels, nachash, cherubim, etc.
6 Lucifer was among these. He was a very important supernatural being of
these created spiritual beings. Unfortunately, at some point, Lucifer got a big
head and thought more of himself than he should have. He believed that he was
better than God, so he rebelled against God. He devised a plan to remove
Almighty God from His Throne and rule over everything. In the rebellion,
Lucifer took about 1/3 of the supernatural beings with him.
At some point, Almighty God decided to make man in His image. At this
point, God looked and saw that everything was good. But something happened
between Genesis 1 and Genesis 3. The spiritual beings that had rebelled against
God became jealous of humanity. God had placed Adam and Eve in Lucifer’s abode.
Obviously, Lucifer had to devise a way to get rid of these pesky humans. Thus,
he went to deceive Eve and then Adam so that they would disobey the one
commandment God had given them: do not eat of the tree of the Knowledge
of good and evil or you shall die. Since Eve wasn’t even created when God gave
the commandment to Adam, she obviously messed that up royally. Adam was right
there and should have stopped her and taken control over the situation and told
Lucifer to leave, but he didn’t.
Please note that Genesis 3 focuses on a serpent or snake. According to
Michael Heiser, this creature was actually a ‘nachash’ or a fiery serpent, a
‘fiery’ supernatural being. It did not seem so strange to have this
supernatural being around the garden, because the spiritual beings spent time
in the Garden of Eden as well. Anyway, God did intervene in this situation.
God’s curse against this nachash was the following in Genesis 3: 15 (ESV):
“I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your
offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise
his heel.”
This was the prophecy about Jesus Christ who would come and destroy
the evil that this spiritual being had placed on humanity.
This Nachash was Lucifer or who we also know as Satan. This Satan is
now faced with 2 problems: 1) to find the way to get rid of God and place
himself (Satan) as the ultimate ruler of all creation, and 2) do what he can to
destroy humanity and keep them from turning to God.
Genesis 6:1-4 was the next part of this spiritual warfare with the
purpose of destroying humanity. In Genesis 6:1-4, fallen spiritual beings came
to earth and took human women to have sexual intercourse with them and have
families x for the purpose of destroying the genomes of humanity. These offspring were the Nephilim (giants) who were extremely wicked,
cannibalistic, and violent. These spiritual beings taught humanity how to make
war materials and how to war against each other, as well as teaching occult
practices. They also had intercourse with animals (making them hybrids and no
longer the pure animal form that God had created them to be). By the time Noah had finished the ark, only Noah, his wife, sons, and their wives were
purely human. In regards to the animals, the animals that were sent to get on
the ark were the only pure animals that God had created in the beginning. The
Book of Enoch, although rejected by many in the Christian community, is an
excellent source of information regarding what happened during Genesis 6:1-4
period.
Jesus said in Luke 17:26 (ESV): “Just as it was in the days of Noah,
so will it be in the days of the Son of Man.” Although people focus on the
continuation of eating and drinking and marrying, in truth this scripture also
sends us back to the great sins of the fallen spiritual beings in Genesis 6:1-4
and the great wickedness that consumed humanity during those days. We can see
these days are just like Genesis 6:1-4 which includes space aliens, alien
abductions which involve experiments of the abductees sexual organs, and
Transhumanism. These are serious and dangerous days.
End Time Spiritual Dangers for Humanity
I believe that we are truly at the precipice of entering the end of
days. At the end of days, the world will be under the domination of the New
World Order (NWO), whereby there shall be a One World Government which
will be lead by a wicked dictator far worse than Hitler or any other cruel,
vicious World Leader, One World Economic System with the mark of the
beast as described in Revelation 13, and One World Religion which shall be
Luciferian. Compare the following article with Revelation 13:
In “Totalitarian Collectivism”, David Spangler of the Director of
Planetary Initiative, United Nations, said:
"No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make
a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the New Age unless he will take
a Luciferian Initiation." 7
Revelation
13: 16-17 (KJV) says, “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor,
free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save
he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
The one very interesting thing about the King James Version related to
this scripture is that it specifies that this mark is placed ‘in’ the right
hand or forehead. The other versions use ‘on’.
For many years we have thought of this mark as being a microchip
placed in the hand or forehead. In fact, many nations are requiring their
citizens to take this mark. People are accepting this without question.
Think about the following possibility: what if the mark of the beast
is this microchip? How would that relate to Transhumanism and the quest to
evolve to a higher, better human, a 2.0 human? What if this microchip has the
capacity to begin the change process? Becoming a 2.0 human would mean that we
are no longer the humans that Almighty God created in the beginning of human
history. It will also mean that 2.0 human is no longer the being that Jesus
Christ came to suffer, die and be resurrected in order to bring salvation to
humanity. Salvation is no longer possible for these people.
Revelation 14: 9-11 (KJV) says,
“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any
man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or
in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the
wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his
indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence
of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth
up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the
beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”
My understanding of this scripture is that the people who receive this
mark, be it microchip or something else, will spend eternity in the lake of
fire. There will be no more salvation, no grace.
I know that there are spiritual leaders who are telling their
congregations that God is a loving and forgiving God. He will understand and
will not send anyone to hell or the Lake of Fire just because they took this
mark. Revelation 14: 9-11 gives us a very different picture.
Transhumanism is very much a part of our present world system. The
governments are pushing hard to force the NWO upon us. I hear the news so
frequently about the coming economic collapse which will be necessary in order
to force the mark of the beast system. The Pope has been pushing very hard to
force all to be under the One World Religion. Since the Pope is Luciferian, his
idea of religion will be Luciferian: NOT Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist,
or any other type of religion. This will be a time to worship Lucifer and him
alone. If people do not accept this mark, they will be killed.
We live in very dark days. Those of us who are followers of Jesus
Christ must wake up and be ready. Here in this country, I see the dark clouds
of great persecution coming. It is not presently as bad as in some nations, but
it is coming. We must become the spiritually mature people that Christ has
called us to be. We must be about the work that Christ has called us to do. We
must prepare our family members for deciding what they shall do when given a
choice between denying their faith in Christ or dying because of their faith in
Christ.
Repent and return to the Lord. We do not know when He shall come for
us. It would be nice if He would take us in a pre-tribulation rapture. However,
what will happen if the rapture does not occur when you expect it? Will you choose
to turn from your faith in Him, just because He didn’t come in your timeline?
