SCOTUS Protests Already Begin to Backfire
The pre-planned, pre-printed and otherwise over-organized protests by the left witnessed in the lead up to and in the wake of President Trump’s Supreme Court nomination made clear that this wasn’t about one person. This was #FakeProtest and its target wasn’t strictly Brett Kavanaugh — or even Roe v. Wade dissidents. Instead, they were and are about resisting the authority of a Republican President of the United States. But their attempts to undermine Kavanaugh are so far-flung that even liberals are beginning to backpedal. And the result will be that his confirmation will quickly become inevitable as Democrat Senators up for reelection won’t want to be associated with the nutters.

President Trump has nominated his pick for the Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh, and predictably, there is much weeping and gnashing of teeth from the left. The women are lamenting all those abortions they want to have but maybe won’t be able to have if SCOTUS overturns Roe v. Wade, leaving abortion to the states. In their minds, this means that they would be automatically dragged into an alley (pregnant or not) and assaulted with a wire hanger by Kavanaugh himself, or something. I really can’t figure it out. All I hear is a bunch of caterwauling histrionics about how they love to rip human babies into bloody pieces. Yay, rights!
